Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Lead Developer to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies in CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, SYNCSORT, EASYTRIEVE, VSAM
- At least 4 years of architectural experience – designing and solutioning applications
- Experience in mainframe modernization and reverse engineering
Responsibilities
- translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
- apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- gather accurate requirements
- prioritize tasks and the scope of development
- identify errors and adjust in a testing environment
- contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project

- Candidate can be located within commuting distance of Southlake, TX or Omaha, NE.
