Covetrus is looking to implement and mature its Stibo STEP Master Data Management (MDM) platform to support both Product and Customer domains, aiming for scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions that improve health and financial outcomes for veterinary practice partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Stibo STEP MDM solutions, in both Product and Customer domains
- Building and maintaining data designs, validation rules, user interface, and workflows using Stibo Systems
- Proficiency in JavaScript or other scripting languages, and data modeling
- Experience executing data migration processes
- Experience working with multiple database systems (Snowflake, MySQL), and cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Exposure to integration tools (Boomi)
- Stibo STEP certifications in the following areas required: MDM Solution Design, MDM Solution Fundamentals, Workflows and Web UIs, Data Modeling, Data Management
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support the data structure designs, validations, workflows, and integrations in our customer data management, product information management, and related systems
- Collaborate with product owners, data stewards, data domain owners, and other data engineers and architects to maintain system SLAs and stability, addressing unplanned work while executing against planned project work and enhancements to meet internal and external customer requirements
- Build, document, and maintain an understanding of master data dependencies across our global data systems, enterprise, and regional business systems dependent on them
- Convert requirements into elegant, cleanly designed, and easily maintained solutions in a cloud-based environment
- Mentor and guide junior developers in MDM development practices, emphasizing quality assurance, release processes, coding best practices, and documentation standards
- Achieve and maintain data compliance to legal and regulatory standards such as the USA’s Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Drive innovation, automation, and best practices in master data management, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering or related field preferred, or comparable job-related experience and training
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience working in Information Technology leading or being a part of engineering teams
- Proven track record in leading solution design and development in large-scale, enterprise environments
- Thrives and self-motivates in a fast-moving remote work environment, working on a variety of projects and technologies in an agile, team-based culture
- Self-starting with strong technical skills, problem solving abilities, organizational skills, and detail-orientation
