VyStar Credit Union is seeking a Lead Payments System & Data Analyst to manage and develop payment-related products and services, including ATM, ACH, Credit, Debit, Alternate Payments, and Loyalty, to ensure the success and growth of payment products and services.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and industry standards, including familiarity with various payment methods.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Word.
- Experience with Visio is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in project management activities.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements, such as Reg Z, Reg E, PSD2, PCI-DSS, AML, and KYC.
- Proficient in utilizing the reporting capabilities of various payment product software applications.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft SQL, Excel and Laserfiche
Responsibilities
- Performs data analysis by mining information from various data sources and constructing data into meaningful, actionable information to assist business units in meeting strategic objectives.
- Develop, implement, and support reports and internally used applications created utilizing Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft SQL, Excel and Laserfiche that will be utilized by members of the Payments Operations Department and senior leadership for a variety of purposes.
- Prepares reporting for executive leadership and external parties (CEO report, Visa quarterly and others as required).
- Leads as needed in projects related to Payments including vendor integration with the core platform.
- Leads merger and acquisition activity related to payments ensuring a seamless process for new members.
- Assists Payments VP, AVPs, and Product Managers as well as the project management office with the creation of business requirements, functional design documents, and test plans.
- Creates test scripts for end user testing with proven knowledge of testing techniques and technologies.
Other
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial institution is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the payments industry is required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
