GDIT is looking to fill a Lead Principal Cloud Developer role to manage the network that makes mission success possible and deliver 'One GDIT Network' for their clients, transforming technology into opportunity for mission-critical government projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Development background in Node.JS and React.JS
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
- Experience with AWS cloud computing
- Linux OS experience
- Cloud Computing and Cloud Development skills
Responsibilities
- Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
- Maintains the integrity and security of systems
- Maintains all documentations
- Supports and develops automation
- Develops in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Monitors and tunes the cloud systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Other
- Must be US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen)
- Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a position of Public Trust
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization
- Team lead/management experience
- Less than 10% travel required
