Apple is seeking a Lead Designer to join the Apple Games Product Design Team to research, design, and prototype new user experiences for their gaming products, aiming to create sophisticated, simple solutions that surprise and delight users and influence the industry.

Requirements

  • An excellent on-line portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and visual design work for mobile devices
  • Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes
  • Experience leading and directing other designers and design teams
  • Experience in designing iOS app experiences from start to finish as a product designer with familiarity of iOS development
  • UI,UX and visual design experience for Mac, TV, and/or Apple Vision is a plus
  • Highly skilled in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and other design tools
  • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements
  • Deliverables include design mockups, prototyping, production of visual assets, and documentation required for proper implementation
  • possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills
  • grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions
  • designing iOS app experiences from start to finish as a product designer with familiarity of iOS development
  • UI,UX and visual design experience for Mac, TV, and/or Apple Vision
  • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools

Other

  • Bachelors Degree in Interaction, Graphic Design, Media Arts or equivalent experience
  • 10-15 years of design experience working within a technical environment
  • Enthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal
