Zoom is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the future of Zoom Meetings, creating polished, detail-rich design and seamless user experiences, impacting how millions connect daily across join flows, in-meeting interfaces, and AI-driven features.
Requirements
- Have extensive (8 yrs+) of product design experience with a compelling portfolio showcasing exceptional visual and interaction design.
- Motion design experience is a great additional skill.
- Be an expert in visual design, with a passion for polish and a keen eye for detail in spacing, layout, motion, and visual flow.
- Be proficient in Figma (and other tools) for design and prototyping, with a solid systems-thinking approach.
- Have experience designing across multiple platforms (desktop, web, mobile, and other devices), with a deep understanding of user-centred design principles.
Responsibilities
- Leading high-impact projects defining the future of Zoom Meetings, including join flow, in-meeting UI, audio/video settings, and AI-driven features.
- Setting a high standard for visual and interaction design quality across the Meetings experience, with a focus on polished UI, layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (PM, engineering, research, and accessibility) to align on product direction, deliver impactful work, and champion design excellence.
- Contributing to driving high-quality design within the Meetings team, collaborating with leadership to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the broader Zoom Meetings vision.
- Using qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions, measure success, and identify areas for improvement
- Owning design execution in Figma, delivering pixel-perfect visuals, robust prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering teams.
Other
- Hold a Bachelors or equivalent experience required.
- Have experience managing complex projects involving cross-functional and cross-team stakeholders across different timezones.
- Have excellent communication skills, able to influence and inspire partners with new design thinking and articulate design decisions effectively.
- Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
