Growing the Nike Brand business in the Asia-Pacific & Latin America (APLA) region by creating industry leading footwear with compelling & impactful stories
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Footwear Creation and product storytelling
- Geo and/or Territory Merchandising experience is preferred
- Relevant product acumen and style sensibility for APLA is critical
- Experience leveraging various tools and resources for trend forecasting
- Strategic thinking, product line management and franchise management experience, with ability to drive solid X-functional plans
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations
- Exceptional attention to details and deadlines, and the ability to balance competing priorities
Responsibilities
- Drive color, graphics, materials, and trims across Nike Footwear for both genders and all categories
- Collaborate with Design, Development, and Global Product and Merchandising teams to align on franchise and marketplace strategies
- Manage cost/margin targets
- Maintain product data accuracy
- Deliver compelling presentations regularly
- Build strong relationships across Global Footwear, partnering with Merchandising and Brand to ensure alignment on key initiatives
- Coordinate and communicate product lines internally and externally
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Product Management or related field
- 5+ years of Product Creation or Merchandising experience
- Proven track record of building and growing businesses, leveraging strategic decision making and focused execution
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including internationally
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to motivate others and drive vision and strategy across functions
