Amazon Robotics is seeking to solve complex supply chain challenges by optimizing production planning, driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of advanced planning strategies and replenishment processes
  • Proficient in supply chain management tools and technologies
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization to drive key insights
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
  • Certified Kinaxis Author or Advanced User certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization (preferred)
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain finite capacity production schedules considering equipment, labor, and material constraints
  • Perform sequence optimization to minimize changeovers and maximize manufacturing throughput
  • Develop and maintain short-term, medium-term, and long-term capacity models
  • Identify and resolve capacity bottlenecks through constraint analysis and simulation
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and replenishment strategies to optimize working capital
  • Leverage planning systems and analytics to generate optimized supply plans
  • Develop capacity modeling tools using SQL, Python, and visualization platforms

Other

  • 3+ years of professional experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
