The People Analytics team at Google acts as an internal innovation lab, using analytical approaches to ensure Google remains a great place to work. The team provides critical support to the business on organizational health issues, monitoring employee sentiment and using feedback to drive improvements.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience with analytics programs.
- 5 years of experience turning data sets into narratives with visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, tables) and presenting to executives.
- 5 years of experience collaborating on projects involving multiple teams and managing ongoing client relationships.
- 5 years of experience supporting scaled reporting solutions, including partnering with technical teams to scope requirements.
- 5 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative problem solving strategies to measure the effectiveness of programs, interventions, and efforts for a large organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the external landscape of existing efforts and track trends.
- Conduct research to fill gaps in current understanding and in emerging issues.
- Develop practical recommendations for business leaders to aid talent development and engaged advantage.
- Test new approaches to research.
- Collaborate across the company and, as appropriate, externally.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Human Resources, Psychology) or equivalent practical experience in Research, organizational psychology, behavioral economics.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
