Requirements
- Proficient in R, Python, or other statistical software, with experience in version control and managing large data files.
 
- Advanced knowledge of statistics and research methods.
 
- Experienced in designing research studies and analysis plans.
 
- Demonstrated success in managing study participants.
 
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude) and an awareness of their applications in research.
 
- A track record of mentoring and guiding others in research best practices.
 
- Familiar with educational technology and current trends.
 
Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and own the full data acquisition lifecycle across multiple research teams.
 
- Proactively coordinate external data acquisition and special studies, identifying new opportunities and maintaining robust tracking systems.
 
- Develop and implement new processes to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy.
 
- Mentor and guide junior research staff, reviewing analysis plans, code, and project deliverables.
 
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, collaborating with data teams to ensure integrity.
 
- Lead cross-functional collaborations to achieve ambitious project goals.
 
- Represent the research team at conferences, presenting findings and contributing to team learning.
 
Other
- Master’s degree in educational psychology, research methods, data science, or a related quantitative field plus 3+ years of relevant experience, including ideally experience working with school districts; or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of equivalent experience.
