UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an intermediate-level Salesforce Developer to maintain and enhance the custom codebase that underpins many of their complex solutions, augmenting the Salesforce platform with custom code when necessary.
Requirements
- Familiarity with or experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce, and the Salesforce API.
- Experience (at least 4 years) with server-side languages, such as Python, C-Sharp, PHP, Perl, Java, and Node.js
- Experience (at least 4 years) with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience (at least 4 years) with Object-oriented languages or paradigms
- Experience with SQL and relational database systems, such as MySQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server
- Experience using and creating REST APIs
- Experience with Git source control
Responsibilities
- Help lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Salesforce applications and solutions to meet business requirements.
- Coding Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies to create scalable and efficient solutions.
- Provide technical input to a team of Salesforce administrators and analysts.
- Collaborate with peers to share and enhance technical skills and understanding of Salesforce processes.
- Lead code review with other developers.
- Adhere to Salesforce development standard methodologies, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Participate in discussions related to the architecture of robust, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
