EPAM Georgia is seeking an experienced Lead Scala Developer to develop robust backend solutions utilizing microservice architecture and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Scala
- Proficiency in microservice architecture
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Kafka
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with Kibana and Grafana
- Familiarity with Java programming language
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Scala and microservices architecture
- Design and implement solutions on Amazon Web Services
- Maintain and optimize existing applications for performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (B2 level or higher)
