UPS is looking to hire software engineers to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate computer software that provide business capabilities, solutions, and/or product suites. The role involves applying software engineering principles to ensure the delivery of technical solutions on time and within budget, and to integrate emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience with mobile development, Android, iOS, Angular, C applications.
- Experience with Agile Development
- Working knowledge of OpenShift and Microservice processing
Responsibilities
- Applies the principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate computer software that provide business capabilities, solutions, and/or product suites.
- Provides systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery of technical solutions is on time and within budget.
- Researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies.
- Provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance.
- Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Analyzes requirements, tests, and integrates application components.
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

- Ability to collaborate with fellow developers across groups and with Business Owners a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong support skills and willingness to do a support rotation is required
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the following: Atlanta, GA,Mahwah, NJ,Parsippany, NJ,Louisville, KY, Timonium, MD.
