Lumen is looking to enhance network reliability, incident management, and service assurance automation in telecom operations by designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Go and Python would be a plus
- Expertise in cloud-based architectures, APIs, building and managing containerizes services and microservices.
- Experience with automation, AI/ML, and predictive analytics in service assurance.
- Experience in using and managing an enterprise CICD workflow including Github, linting tools and Jenkins
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance service assurance software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience.
- Implement AI/ML-driven automation strategies to optimize fault detection, incident management, and predictive analytics.
- Develop solutions that improve network reliability, real-time monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Build scalable applications using cloud technologies and API-driven architectures for seamless integration.
- Ensure all software solutions align with cybersecurity best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Use and manage an enterprise CICD workflow including Github, linting tools and Jenkins
- Guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Other
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in telecom or service assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.
