The Lead Software Engineer will be the driving force behind the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions for these SMEs.
Requirements
- Deep experience in front-end development using React, React Native, Vue.js, and Ext JS, combined with strong backend skills in Java, Spring, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Proficient in building scalable, performant, and accessible applications with a solid foundation in database technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud-native architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, apply secure coding practices (OWASP, CWE), and deliver high-quality software using Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies, with a focus on system resilience, customer experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proficient in advanced debugging and troubleshooting, including core, heap, and thread dump analysis.
- Experienced in documenting and coaching development best practices (e.g., branching, peer reviews, TDD, error handling).
- Strong understanding of advanced design patterns (e.g., MVC, API Gateway, Dependency Injection) for efficient code implementation.
- Skilled in conducting code reviews across applications to identify anti-patterns and support continuous refactoring.
Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Mastery in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Work closely with enterprise architects and product management to define features and user stories.
- Contribute to day-to-day system development and maintenance activities to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
