Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Convert UX designs mock-ups and wireframes into interactive and responsive IQ functionality.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners and developers to ensure that the user interface meets functional requirements and user expectations.
- Mentor and collaborate other UI developers.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure that the team adheres to best practices and maintains high-quality code standards.
- Write unit and functional tests to ensure individual components of the user interface function.
- Monitor, profile and optimize UI performance to ensure smooth user interactions and fast page loading times.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
- Required to work from Company Office (Chicago, IL) certain days per week. Telecommuting allowed for balance of week.
