General Dynamics Mission Systems needs to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software applications to support weapon systems integrated into combat vehicles, ships, submarines, aircraft, spacecraft, and other advanced defense systems.
Requirements
- Proficient in C/C++
- Proficient in Javascript
- Linux experience at the User or Administrator level
- Experience with collaborative source control (e.g. Synergy, GitLab)
- Experience with containers
- Experience with software requirements and documentation (i.e. Design, Development, and Test Documents and Diagrams)
- Agile experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Experience leading software engineers, including setting goals, tracking performance, and driving results
- Proficient in C/C++

Other
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
