Toyota Financial Services Technology Department is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own the complete application architecture and development lifecycle, turning complex business needs into innovative, scalable software solutions.
Requirements
- Expertise in building reusable software components and shared libraries in languages such as Java, C-Sharp, JavaScript, or Python.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing, and non-functional software architecture aspects.
- Solid knowledge of InfoSec and DevSecOps principles, especially within AWS environments.
- 3+ years as an Application or Solutions Architect designing enterprise-scale solutions using modern cloud-native technologies (AWS preferred).
- 10+ years of experience delivering high-impact software products with a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities
- Lead full stack solution design using best practices like microservices, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures to build modular and integrated systems.
- Partner with domain architects, delivery leads, and product owners to translate business needs into timely, high-quality technical solutions.
- Champion reusable software patterns, frameworks, and libraries that accelerate development and uphold architectural integrity across teams.
- Support operations teams by performing root cause and preventative analyses to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain clear architectural documentation to promote knowledge sharing and system sustainability.
- Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and maintainability.
