The Ad Platforms team at Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is responsible for creating and scaling innovative global advertising solutions by building mission-critical tools and workflows to support addressable & linear ad sales, traffic, marketing, and ad serving. The Lead Software Engineer will spearhead the development of the OMS system, guiding its technical direction and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in web application development or software engineering in a large enterprise environment using modern frameworks with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud infrastructure technologies (Terraform, AWS, K8S, Spinnaker, IAM, ALB, etc…)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and databases.
- Proficiency in Agile and Lean methodologies
- Experience with AI tools, digital advertising, and modern UI frameworks (HTML/CSS/React).
- Experience building Order Management Systems supporting Quote-to-Cash, and past experience working on Design Systems
Responsibilities

- Oversee full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, and maintain.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges to ensure system stability.
