Requirements
- Experience with C++ programming is required.
- Experience with computational techniques of discrete and/or analytic geometry is ideal.
- Some experience with CFD is a plus.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Mac computers.
Responsibilities
- Code, debug, test, and troubleshoot according to departmental standards, policies, and procedures throughout development.
- Document development using code comments and technical specifications.
- Analyze and review the code of others for defects, consistency, and reusability and suggest improvements.
- Report and fix defects in all areas of the code.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science with an emphasis on Computational Math or Geometry, or a related field from an accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messaging.
- Requires clearance under ITAR data handling.
- Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX (if not currently located in the area)
- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all staff and customers.
