QTEC Aerospace is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support a large Missile Defense Development Program, specifically focusing on the Fire Control System. The role involves leading a team to drive value delivery for the infrastructure of a complex Missile Defense command and control system.
Requirements
- Recent and extensive experience developing software in C++ or Java
- Experience with Unix/Linux Operating Systems
- Experience leading a technical team of 5 or more individuals
- Experience estimating planning and scheduling software development work for a technical team
- Experience with Agile Project Management tools (Jira/Confluence) and DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab) of continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
- Proven experience understanding complex algorithms and implementing them in software
- Experience developing software in Ada
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing
- Responsible for leading a team and driving value delivery for the infrastructure of a complex Missile Defense command and control system
- Experience with Agile Project Management tools (Jira/Confluence) and DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab) of continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
- Proven experience understanding complex algorithms and implementing them in software
