JPMorgan Chase is looking to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way within the Corporate Sector's AI/ML & Data Platforms team

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing APIs
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Demonstrable ability to code in Python
  • Experience in creating web user interfaces
  • Foundational knowledge of database concepts
  • Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
  • Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Responsibilities

  • Develops secure high-quality APIs, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, product organization, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
  • Conduct integrity checks to ensure data formats are accurate and consistent
  • Create web-based user interfaces for seamless access to resources
  • Leverage programming language libraries to generate power point presentation

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
