Glean's Data Foundation Team needs a technical lead to pave the way for hyper growth by building and enhancing the company's AI-powered knowledge management platform, specifically focusing on enterprise data ingestion and management infrastructure to power Glean's Search and AI capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2 years experience as a technical lead
- Proven track record of delivering high scale backend services
- Delivered vertical projects with net new features that needed to span & coordinate with multiple teams
- Delivered a system that had to scale to large numbers of customers/users over a few years
Responsibilities
- Lead new product initiatives involving ingesting, understanding, and interacting with enterprise data—experimenting, prototyping, and shipping ideas quickly.
- Scale robust distributed systems to handle billions of permissions-aware documents in real time, as well as build new systems from the ground up.
- Drive high, direct impact by collaborating with cross-functional teams on business-critical projects, and working directly with customers.
