Visa’s Technology Organization is seeking a Lead SW Engineer to guide software engineering teams towards delivering top-tier Emerging Consumer Payment solutions, reshaping the future of commerce.
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more general programming languages like Java.
- Experience building and deploying modern services and web applications with an emphasis on quality and scalability.
- Proven experience delivering large scale, highly available production software.
- A deep understanding of end-to-end software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
- Experience working in an Agile and Test-Driven Development environment
- Payment processing background desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, resilient software solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.
- Drive the invention, design, and implementation of emerging consumer payment technologies.
- Work cross-functionally with product teams, other engineering teams, operations, and infrastructure teams to design, develop, and launch global products.
- Oversee decision-making processes for design trade-offs and long-term architecture planning.
- Ensure delivery of highly available, enterprise-scale systems, leveraging innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology.
- Drive Agentic Ai adoption in team to bring out productivity and more adoption for avenues of opportunity.
