Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in leading custom software development and customization / configuration / integration of off-the-shelf/SaaS GRC platforms such as IBM OpenPages, RSA Archer, or similar systems (e.g., ServiceNow, MetricStream).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or other GRC domains.
- Proficiency in database design, design patterns, performance tuning, and API integration.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
- Exposure to modern AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Leading the technical design and development of applications across both custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf / SaaS GRC platforms (e.g., IBM OpenPages, RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream, etc.), supporting Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit functions.
- Partnering with product owners to plan and prioritize impactful business outcomes.
- Developing and testing software components, including architecture documentation.
- Managing operational support and root cause analysis for complex workflows.
- Collaborating with vendors to represent MetLife’s needs and assess product impact.
- Advocating best practices in AI, DevOps, agile, and cloud technologies.

- 4+ years of project leadership or project management experience with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
