Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas (KMHA) is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and manage innovative software solutions that drive our healthcare imaging technologies forward.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of image processing mathematics (matrix transformations, interpolation, etc.).
  • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
  • Proficient in templates, generic programming, STL containers, algorithms, and multi-threading.
  • Experience with mutex & locks, smart pointers, and Visual Studio/gcc compilers.
  • Solid understanding of move semantics, lambda functions, and regular expressions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of corporate software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality software within defined timelines.
  • Create Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and manage projects involving 1–4 developers across on-site and offshore teams.
  • Manage Git source control, including code reviews, merging, and branch management.
  • Collaborate with product owners to recommend best practices for UX/UI.
  • Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to define and prioritize deliverables.
  • Document major features in Confluence and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

  • Proven experience leading software projects and managing cross-functional development teams.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through coaching, feedback, and hands-on guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging development tools and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure development milestones are met and manage project priorities effectively.
  • Attend management and planning meetings, providing updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
