Requirements
- Proven experience (8+ years) in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, spring based technologies or Python in GCP / Azure Cloud environment
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Strong background in working with APIs, ensuring efficient communication and integration between different systems
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Strong infrastructure knowledge required including Unix, Windows, networking
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
- Experience in Identity and access management and working at code level
Responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Provides end-user support with excellent problem-solving abilities
Other
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Demonstrable success in leading and managing software engineering teams, with a focus on team member growth and overall team performance
- Excellent intercultural, verbal, and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tactful delivery of opinions and feedback
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
