JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management Technology team is looking for an Experienced Software Engineer to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. This may involve developing mobile features, strategizing on leveraging big data for trading systems, innovating payment solutions, or supporting cloud platform integration.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Advanced coding knowledge in Java programming language
- Strong technical skills Java development including areas such as Spring, Hibernate, JMS, Spring Boot
- Experience in Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud)
- Strong skills around object oriented analysis and design (OOAD),Design principles and Design patterns with ability to trouble shoot and debug an application for any application issues
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Responsibilities
- Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
