JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Technology Office is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. The role involves driving multiple complex projects and initiatives, serving as a primary decision maker, and being a driver of innovation and solution delivery.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience, with firm understanding of various design patterns, cloud native microservices architecture and engineering practices.
- Strong experience working with Java, Spring Boot and Oracle, along with good understanding of Maven build tooling.
- Comfortable in more than two programming languages with a strong understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies.
- Experience with both Private and Public clouds ranging from IaaS to PaaS solutions.
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and ECS is required.
- Practical experience with unit testing using tools like JUnit or Mockito
- Proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases.

- Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a strategic high-volume, high-resilience data processing systems for surveillance and retention.
- Be part of the Global Technology organization spread across of US and APAC to provide end to end design, build and delivery.
- Work collaboratively to ensure team and organization standards are followed and the team is consistently focused on continuous improvements and sustained delivery.
- Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to promote business value.
- Pair program with team members to build high-quality solutions.
