JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. The role involves utilizing in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, serving as a primary decision maker and a driver of innovation and solution delivery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with firm understanding of various design patterns, cloud native microservices architecture and engineering practices
- Strong experience working with Java, Spring Boot and Oracle, along with good understanding of pypi, nuget, npm and maven build tooling
- Comfortable in more than two programming languages with a strong understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies.
- Experience with both Private and Public clouds ranging from IaaS to PaaS solutions. Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and ECS is required
- Practical experience with unit testing using tools like JUnit and Mockito
- Proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases.
