Cadent is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in C, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and Entity Framework/EF Core.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and relational database design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and services using .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Implement and optimize data access layers with Entity Framework (EF/EF Core).
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and mentoring junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmaps.
Other
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with the Microsoft stack.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical discussions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment.
