The company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership, unblock engineers and QA, define and evolve best practices, mentor team members, and keep products up to date with new technology and best practices.
Requirements
- Frontend and Backend Web Development Technologies.
- Understanding of web services technologies such as HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
- Security principles and architecture
- Experience with Cloud Operations and DevOps - prefer AWS.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Typescript, NodeJS, Bash, PHP)
- Experience with PHP, React, Typescript, NodeJS, MySQL
Responsibilities
- This person is the technical leader on their team.
- Executes the plans set forth by the technology leadership team in a technical capacity.
- Sets standards and procedures for the team to follow.
- Researches new technologies and best solutions for each problem.
- Supports and troubleshoots issues with existing code, including incident response.
- Assists heavily in product releases, revisions, patches and code reviews.
- Understands and improves all code bases currently under development.
