The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking to support its rapid growth and technological evolution by improving the performance and scalability of mission critical services, specifically in the areas of big data, AI, and healthcare technology, while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs in languages such as Python, Golang, C
- Solid understanding of backend integration, specifically RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Deep experience with cloud hosted services in AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in a Kubernetes environment.
- Experience incorporating AI models into existing software
- Strong foundation in security best practices, HIPAA compliance and securing data in transit and rest.
Responsibilities
- Lead API and data streaming service development for multiple TAG brands.
- Build new and optimize existing systems, ensuring reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Drive technical direction, setting standards for design patterns, code quality, and testing practices.
- Partner with engineering managers to refine processes, focusing on both technical and operational efficiencies.
- Participate in code reviews and encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, introducing innovative solutions to drive team and project success.
