The business problem is to lead software development initiatives and manage product lifecycles for the Resilient Missile Warning and Missile Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program, delivering innovative software solutions that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Strong technical background with proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven experience managing software products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for product stakeholders, gathering and prioritizing requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, translating strategic objectives into actionable tasks for the development team.
- Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and timely delivery of product features.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and innovation.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a product owner or lead engineering role.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
