OptumRx Infusion team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to lead the development and support of multiple enterprise applications, with an initial focus on the 340B program, to drive operational excellence and improve patient care.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL and Mongo DB Database knowledge
- Team Lead / Solution Architect experience is essential
- Experience in Java or other technologies such as Python or Go
- Experience in Kafka & managing data pipelines
- Proven building and integrating with internal and external RESTful services
- AI experience
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in software development, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs
- Take ownership of operational support, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues efficiently
- Actively participate in all deployment activities, ensuring smooth releases and minimizing downtime
- Lead and mentor development teams, fostering best practices in software engineering and agile delivery
- Drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and align with organizational goals
- Develop novel AI approaches for healthcare using both structured and unstructured data
- Build and test deep learning and traditional ML models in distributed computing environments
Other
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Technical Product Owners (TPOs) to drive successful project delivery

- The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment.
