Rebet is seeking a Lead Backend Software Engineer to build robust, performant solutions in Rust for their KYC and identity verification system, which is crucial to their success.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Rust and backend development.
- Familiarity with microservices, async systems, and database operations.
- Experience working with sensitive data and secure systems.
- Strong attention to detail and software quality.
- Knowledge of low-level languages (C, C++, Go) or ML infra is a plus.
- Experience with data pipeline design, analytics integration, and geolocation-based access controls is preferred.
- Understanding of system performance tuning, security protocols, and regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems for KYC and identity verification.
- Ensure compliance with CIP, BSA, and broader KYC/AML standards.
- Write secure, auditable, and production-grade code in Rust.
- Collaborate on system architecture and scalability decisions.
- Prioritize correctness, efficiency, and resilience.
