Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineer concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Experience with Java/J2EE with a deep understanding of the language and core APIs, web services, multi-threaded/concurrent programming, XML, design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience in implementing Microservices using Spring Boot and Event-Driven architecture, implementation of enterprise systems using DDD, SAGA/ CQRS patterns
- Converse fluently in the full web technology stack
- Plan, design, test, debug and deploy software solutions for managing infrastructure, project management, capacity planning, and operational efficiencies
- Big data technologies(Kafka, Spark, Storm, Hadoop, HDFS, Solr)
- Familiarity with UI technologies (Jquery, ReactJS, Bootstrap etc)
- Cloud/AWS experience
Responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
