The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer - Test & Verification to join the USAF E-7A Mission Systems Software Integration & Test team to develop next generation Open Mission Software (OMS) Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) Software primarily for USAF E-7A, but also supporting other Airborne Surveillance, Command and Control (ASC2) programs.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access
- 5 years of experience in scripting languages and testing automation
- 6 years of experience in real-time embedded operating systems, Linux
- 9+ years of experience in developing and executing Integrated Test Procedures (ITPs) for mission software, focusing on sensor and track management
- 9+ years of experience in software testing, integration, and verification, specifically for mission or embedded systems
- Ability to establish test requirements from supporting documentation, test plans, internal and external customers
- Ability to design and develop automation of software tests, execute automated tests, track results, manage test data, and utilize results to improve software quality
Responsibilities
- Oversees the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality
- Partners with stakeholders and advise on the review and identification of software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability
- Reviews the design of test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications
- Oversees executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes
- Consults on test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities
- Oversees creating, documenting, and maintaining test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards
- Leads the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
