The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Software Quality Engineer to join their team to help develop and maintain a culture of first-time quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve the quality of their software products.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in regulated environment Quality Management System, International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001)
- Experience in managing a software system throughout the entire life cycle
- Experience with the verification, validation, certification and qualification processes and procedures, including knowledge of governing regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in the Military Standards industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards as it relates to Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM)
Responsibilities
- Initiates new organization policies, procedures, infrastructure and metrics
- Leads process improvement activities
- Leads software quality reviews of large-scale, complex supplier proposals
- Leads review and approval of software life cycle documents and program products
- Establishes risk assessment criteria to determine audit requirements
- Plans and leads multi-agency audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Evaluates new technologies for configuration management tools and processes and makes recommendations for implementation

- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
