Wells Fargo is looking to hire a Lead Specialty Software Engineer to help build a better Wells Fargo by satisfying customer financial needs and helping them succeed financially. The role involves ensuring systems are monitored for operational efficiency, managed to mitigate risk, and optimized for resource utilization and cost reduction.
Requirements
- 3 years of Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
- 3 years Java development experience
- 2 years of relational database or NoSQL database experience
- 2 years of experience in derivative analytics
- 2 years of experience in highly scalable, performant and robust risk platforms
- 1 year of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence
Responsibilities
- lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
- resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
- define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
- lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met
- partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
- implement key risk initiatives

- mentor less experienced software engineers
- collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- lead team to achieve objectives
