Requirements
- Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
- At least 4 years of experience as a product owner or product manager in the software space
- Experience leading programs from product ideation to production delivery.
- AWS and IoT domain knowledge
Responsibilities
- Develop product requirements, technical solutions, and engineering roadmaps with an emphasis on maximizing solution re-use, customer value and enterprise value.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Data and Analytics Architects & Platform Architects to define and progressively elaborate functional and non-functional requirements and solutions for implementation by development teams.
- Manage product backlog, priorities, and stakeholder communications.
- Decision-maker for feature priority, acceptance criteria, and target releases.
- Create and manage project life-cycle cost estimates/tracking and communicate and manage business requestor expectations.
