The client is seeking a Lead UI Developer to lead UI development, design, wireframing, and prototyping of new experiences, taking ownership from concept to delivery.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 + years’ experience in user interface development
- Must possess strong user experience background and a full understanding of UI design, page hierarchy
- Perform hands-on development and coding of application components, UI controls, and views using ExtJS, jQuery, and Highcharts
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS for layouts and the browser rendering pipeline
- Ability to apply design patterns and extend existing UI frameworks
- Hands-on object oriented programming in JavaScript
- Working knowledge of ExtJS, React, or AngularJS
Responsibilities
- Lead UI development working with libraries and technologies like ExtJS, jQuery, GruntJS, SASS, and Highcharts
- Work with business leads and stakeholders to lead the design, wireframing and prototyping of new experiences.
- Will own design from the conceptual phase to implementation, QA testing, and delivery to UAT
- Complete job tasks independently and lead a small team of developers
- Share expertise with others and coordinates activities of others on the team
- Perform hands-on development and coding of application components, UI controls, and views using ExtJS, jQuery, and Highcharts
- Mentor and consult internal development team in ExtJS technology
