VASA Fitness is seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our dynamic and complex website ecosystem. This individual must possess a strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of UX/UI best practices, and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering a seamless, engaging, and secure digital experience for both current members and prospective members, while supporting the organization's broader marketing and business objectives.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Githuband responsive frameworks.
- Proven expertise in custom WordPress development (themes, functions, plugins).
- Demonstrated knowledge of eCommerce protocols and strict adherence to PCI compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and related tracking/analytics tools.
- Ability to integrate REST APIs such as Hubspot, Google, and payment processing platforms.
- Foundational knowledge of web server operations, hosting, and CDN environments.
- Experience developing in React and integrate with or build headless CMS architectures.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, IT, Data, Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and other stakeholders) to develop and implement effective web design and functionality.
- Manage multiple web projects concurrently while delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
- Provide insight and recommendations on web design, usability, and technical solutions to elevate the member experience.
- Perform rigorous testing and QA to ensure optimal performance, security, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Maintain and enhance multiple subsites serving internal staff and external audiences.
- Translate design concepts into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages that align with brand standards.
- Oversee server communications and site performance to ensure stability and scalability.

- Minimum 7 years of professional front-end web development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.
