Apogee is seeking a GEOINT Systems Engineer Support to assist the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s ISR & SOF Directorate in equipping warfighters with advanced intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and special operations capabilities by providing acquisition, sustainment, and modernization support.
Requirements
- Demonstrate expertise in DoD acquisition principles and processes, including DoD 5000.01, DoD 5000.02, and system-of-systems engineering, applying recognized knowledge to acquisition and engineering tasks.
- GEOINT engineering services supporting technology development, capability analysis, testing, and integration of new capabilities into intelligence collection architectures.
- System and sensor integration efforts, including preplanned improvements, follow-on capabilities, and interoperability with existing platforms and exploitation elements.
- Technical and mission analyses to evaluate operational requirements, develop system concepts, and perform trade-off studies of proposed designs for feasibility, performance, cost, and risk.
- Review and assess system architectures, specifications, and baselines—including ICDs, subsystem controls, avionics, communications, and environmental/thermal management systems—for compliance and compatibility.
- Program documentation and test/evaluation efforts, including drafting SOOs, SOWs, SEPs, LCSPs, program plans, schedules, test requirements, and integration test plans, as well as analyzing test data.
- Systems and GEOINT architecture development by defining requirements, producing architectures, recommending solutions, and supporting life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, and mission needs.
Responsibilities

- Contribute to systems and GEOINT architecture development by defining requirements, producing architectures, recommending solutions, and supporting life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, and mission needs.

- Must possess and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 20 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD.
- OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 of which must be in the DoD.
- 10% travel
