Requirements
- BS ME, EE, IE Required
- BS in Management and-or Engineering Preferred
- Ability to prioritize and maintain focus, for both the individual and the department, in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment
- Analytical technical problem solver
- Able to learn new technical skills quickly
- Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of the organization
- Ability to benchmark other facilities, processes, etc., for best practices
Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead a Process Engineering team consisting of Engineers and support technicians
- Delivery of process / equipment improvements for high quality, high yields and minimal downtime
- Data analysis of quality defects and machine capability to identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain departmental performance metrics (RTFT, Prof. Savings, Material Usage, Plant Output, Standards of Work, etc.)
- Interface with other departments to establish priorities, manage downtime for trials and maintenance, etc.
- Manage and deliver cost reduction, efficiency improvement and capacity expansion projects
- Contribute technical problem solving as needed for the support of general production
