NV5 is looking to solve geospatial data production workflow problems by developing, refining, and supporting workflows, and promoting continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of all relevant technology and workflow
- Knowledge of ESRI, Microstation, Lastools, Terrasolid, and PLS-CADD software
- Python scripting and workflow automation
- Experience producing and analyzing lidar derived geospatial data for overhead utilities
- ASRPS Certification
- Experience working with lidar data in a professional environment
- Strong technical acumen
Responsibilities
- Develops or provides guidance on technical workflows and methodology
- Technical troubleshooting and training
- Provides guidance to technical leads on best practices, standards, workflows, and communication
- Technical coordination with other production centers
- Supports project scoping and requirements gathering
- Collaborates with Solutions Developers to automate processes
- Collaborates with IT to identify hardware requirements and set up processing environments
Other
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years’ experience working with lidar data in a professional environment
- Travel a few times a year may be required for technical meetings, conferences, and sales support
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor in times of stress
- Excellent communication skills & professionalism
