The System Administrator role at IMG is looking to solve issues related to software support, maintenance, patching, scans, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
Requirements
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience
- VMWare experience
- 5+ years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience
- 5+ years of VMWare experience
- Knowledge of Linux OS and command line
- Knowledge of virtualization and VMWare’s administration interface
Responsibilities
- Review artifacts such as container scans, updated version and port information, and any Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance changes
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and support
- Utilize knowledge of Linux OS and command line to review and provide information to customer leads and vendors
- Utilize knowledge of virtualization and VMWare’s administration interface to support the current system
- Perform regular log, storage, and other operations and compliance activities directed by the customer
- Perform routine IT tasks of varying complexity may be assigned at team discretion.
- Assist with system outages (i.e., complete system failure and significant and/or moderate degradations that inhibit business processes
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and 6+ years of experience
- High School Degree and 10+ years of experience
- Active Top Secret or Q security clearance
