Northrop Grumman is seeking a Lithography Process Engineering Manager to support the development and production of semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration
  • Experience with semiconductor fabrication and working in a cleanroom environment
  • Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Metrics based performance assessment, and equipment asset repair, maintenance, inspection, and sustainment
  • Experience with Wets / Advanced Materials, PVD, CVD, CMP, and Dry Etch processing
  • Experience with semiconductor lithography including: EBEAM, Optical Lithography (DUV & ILN), contact aligners, thin-film coating tracks (TEL & SVG), CDSEM, and overlay tools
  • Experience with the photo-mask making process
  • Experience with workflow modeling, application of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) practices, and establishment of a metrics-based readiness reporting program

Responsibilities

  • Staffing, employee tasking, project management, budget oversight, and program /engineering interface activities
  • Hiring, on-boarding, personnel performance assessments, employee tasking, project oversight, time charging approval, and employee development
  • Directing sustainment and workflow improvement activities supporting lithography processes including workload distribution, project allocation, equipment repair and troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and Quality inspection
  • Overseeing sustainment and operations across all lithography process areas including Electron Beam, Laser-Direct Write, and Optical Lithography modules
  • Managing a quality assurance and/or formal department self-inspection program
  • Coordinating with the fab operations, maintenance, and facilities teams
  • Implementing solutions to identify manufacturing improvements and manage change

  • US Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as demonstrated conflict resolution and change management experience
  • Experience leading teams of 30 or more individuals
  • Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
