PepsiCo is looking to solve the problem of delivering and merchandising products to customers, ensuring that vending equipment is filled and functional, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (if applicable)
- Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
- Pass the required background checks
- Pass DOT physical and Road Test (if applicable)
- Operating trucks by performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, or maneuvering in tight spaces
- Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, replacing out of stocks, removing out of date products, etc.)
- Operating equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Drives to vending equipment locations on an established route across a wide variety of weather conditions
- Fills equipment with product, removes cash/change from equipment and reconciles documentation in Hand Held Computer (HHC)
- Responsible for daily settlement of all cash and charges
- Is responsible for updating tags, Point of Sale (POS), pricing accuracy, product selection and overall functionality of machine
- Ensures machine is clean and presentable to customers purchasing products
- May periodically perform minor repairs such as coin jams on vending machine
- Deliver products and execute all promotions
Other
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, following designated route, etc.)
- Ability to lift, load, and push/pull cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period
