Apple is looking for an individual to help build automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance quality assurance processes and deliver the best location experience for customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of solid understanding of GNSS / Cellular / WiFi / Bluetooth / NFC and related Connectivity / RF technologies
- 5+ years in coding with Python code or related programming experience
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and automation strategy
- Knowledge of GNSS / Cellular location simulations required for functional & performance validation
Responsibilities
- You will use your programming skills to automate test processes, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in debugging GNSS logs to triage and root-cause issues ,with development of custom analysis scripts considered a plus
- Experience in design and development of automated test harnesses & data analysis tooling
Other
- You will work closely with developers and other cross functional stakeholders to understand the features and use data-driven test results to influence and craft the end product.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a reciprocal environment
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications and understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained
- Prior experience of working in fast-paced, agile environment, with flexibility to pivot easily to support new user requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
